A spokesman for the store said the results proved the enduring popularity of romantic movies and their on-screen partnerships.

USATODAY.com - Meg Ryan makes pictures: "The actress and intrepid photographer, who has been shooting her family and friends for years, just had her very first photo essay published in the April issue of Glamour magazine. And now she's ready to tackle bigger ideas.

'I'm going to take pictures of paparazzi taking pictures of me,' Ryan said. 'Then you'll get pictures of these guys in their shorts standing behind a column. It would be hilarious.'

For now, Ryan focused on snapping women whom she considers her heroes because, as she told Glamour, they are 'of service to their generation': Queen Noor of Jordan, former Texas governor Ann Richards, CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour and human rights activist Ngawang Sangdrol.

'It was my first assignment, and what was outrageous about the experience was that people were actually cooperating with me,' said Ryan, wearing a 'year-old' Prada dress at a Wednesday night party feting her debut as a magazine writer and photographer. 'Normally, my pictures are of people who don't want their pictures taken.'"

It was rumored that Spacey would play the male lead in the film that involves a Hepburn/Tracy-like chemistry that develops when a British theater director comes to Broadway with a Shakespearean production and investors insist that he cast a movie star in the leading role. Spacey has since declined, however, and a male lead is being sought."

But she does play a take charge character who maneuvers through the world of boxing, initiating all the fights that take place in the film.

Ryan plays real life fight promoter Jackie Kallen, and the real Kallen joined her to do interviews for the film and you could see similarities. Both have a take-charge attitude that they apply to their respective careers, and both are successful women. One can imagine the film probably wasn't 100 percent accurate to real life, so here was the chance to find out what liberties were taken in the Jackie Kallen story. "

The special will air Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC and all NBC Universal cable networks. Telemundo and PAX will also air the program, which has been expanded to two hours.

NBC Universal has partnered with the American Red Cross for the benefit. Viewers will be encouraged to donate to the American Red Cross International Response Fund in support of tsunami relief through its Web site and donation hot line."
